Short Bio
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate major in computer science at BiWell Lab, City University of Hong Kong, supervised by Dr.Yuhan LUO. My email address: mhliang4-c@my.cityu.edu.hk.

Key words of my research: human-AI interaction, well-being, persuasive technology.
In addition, I am also interested in building multi-LLM collaboration pipeline and computing system.

  • [2024/4/26] Our paper Emotion Embodied: Unveiling the Expressive Potential of Single-Hand Gestures received honorable mention award (top 5%) at CHI 2024.

  • [2024/1/20] Two papers are accepted by CHI 2024.

  • [2023/7/10] One poster is accepted by CUI 2023.

  • Participated in 2021 College Students' Innovative Entrepreneurial Training Plan Program as the leader and won the top prize (national level).

  • Research internship at City University of Hong Kong in 2022.

  • Obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2023.

  • Accepted as a new Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, 2023 Fall.

  • Passed the Ph.D. qualification exam and became a Ph.D. candidate in 2024.
